Only a fair copy overall, as the covers are creased and torn, and there is a tear to the map. Suitable as a reading, working or reference copy.

In quite good pictorial card with orange title field and black titles; both sides have black train to front and background of churches. The front and back covers have vertical crease down middle, chipped edges, small tears on spine ends. The rear cover has yapped edge. Slight foxing and a few marks to front and back. The text block has central crease like covers (as if been rolled up). Page block is firmly stapled and overall in good condition. The staples are rusty and have left marks; no other marks or any tanning etc. Illustrated with b/w photos and maps (one is fold-out). No inscriptions etc. No jacket. Rare.

Covers lightly surface soiled with minor wear to lower edge, and 9 cm adhesive tape repair to inner front hinge. Minor foxing to fore-edge and a few small creases; map slightly mis-folded to edge. A Very Good copy. Attractive pocket guide "Depicting and Describing features of interest to be seen from the trains on the East Coast Route between London (King's X) and Edinburgh (Waverley)" (from front cover).
