This is a Spanish Translation of the 1974 original Farsi and the illustrations in particular won several awards.Apparently there actually is a long necked deer, related to the giraffe which fact is somewhat complicated by the Chinese name for giraffe which is 'long necked deer.' No Dust Jacket If Issued.
