Madras: Published by Higginbotham & Co, Mount Road, 1895 Book. Fair. Hardcover. viii, 308 pages. Pages lightly browned throughout. In the original cloth covered boards and leather spine. The spine is very worn. The boards are damp stained as are the end papers and pastedowns - clearly affected by damp at some point in the past. A light musty smell to the volume. Dent to the fore edge of the text block affecting the edges of pages 170-300. Light browning to pages throughout. Ink inscription to the front free end paper - To dear Dorothy from her father Thos Fisher.
