About This Item

New York: Prentice-Hall, 1987. Praised by Martha Stewart for her ability to transform classic Italian cuisine into delicious, healthy cuisine as well, Elisa Celli's new cookbook following "The Pasta Diet" is a Stated First Edition (and unless it's stated, it's NOT), with the required "number line" ending in a "1" to indicate First Printing. The book is in Fine condition with a Fine, unclipped dust jacket. (Click on photo.) I've placed the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. A showcase of recipes features antipasto, pasta, rice, vegetables, soups, cornmeal, seafood, frittatas, pizza, veal, game, beef, liver, salads, desserts, and sauces. The book is bound in ivory-colored boards with a blue-green spine cloth and die-stamped metallic red titles. The top front corner is slightly bumped. The dust jacket has some light shelf rubbing but no tears. The book measures 7 5/8 by 9 1/2 inches and includes 263 pages, with Index. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
