Canada: RCA Victor, 1957. First printing. Record. Very Good +/very good +. Elvis' Christmas Album RCA Victor LOC-1035 Canadian first pressing 1957 is for sale. This rare and very desirable Elvis LP has a stunning 10-page bound-in book that has large colour photographs of a young Elvis Presley. This is the Canadian first pressing issued in 1957, the same year as Jailhouse Rock.The front of the sleeve has a great image of wrapped Christmas presents and baubles with a small head and shoulders photograph of Elvis taken from Jailhouse Rock. The back of the sleeve has a large head and shoulders photograph of Elvis in a red jacket. As you open the stunning gatefold sleeve you are greeted with a great double page illustration of Christmas presents and a Christmas tree and Merry Christmas Elvis and to the bottom: By Radio Corporation of America, 1957. To the back of the gatefold sleeve is an Elvis Presley catalogue of LPs and singles. The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition with clear tape over the red cloth spine, small separation to the top edge of the opening of the sleeve, and small surface loss to the top corner of the left corner of the back of the sleeve. The in-bound photographs are Mint condition. The red labels to side 1 and side 2 of the vinyl record are in Mint condition with the vinyl being in Very Good condition with marks to the vinyl but NO deep scratches.
