Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1929. First Edition. . Hardcover. Very Good+/Good+. Book traces "the development from the first Empire in America to the modern Commonwealth." Dark blue cloth with gilt titling and publisher's insignia on spine, simple blind-stamped border front and back, 385 pages. Cover has minor wear to corners and spine ends, previous owner's name in ink on end paper, text block edges darkened, some margins show imperfectly erased pencil marks, pages 177-180 show open tears where pages were separated from each other, book is clean and tight. Dust jacket, which is not price-clipped, has edge wear with chipping to spine ends and corners, cover is sunned and has a few smudges. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
