Additional engraved title page. First edition, dated from the colophon. Contemporary sheepskin binding with a modern reback and label. Replacement endpapers. Printed on thick paper which is clean and crisp with only a few signs of handling. ESTC R9410. Armorial bookplate of Thomas Francis Fremantle. A book difficult to find in its complete state. Stone is best known for his surviving sculptural output which includes the effigy of John Donne in St. Pauls, but he also had a successful career as an architect.
