About This Item
London and New York: Frederick Warne and Co. NONE [NONE] [00no date]. (hardcover) 380pp. Very good. 12mo. No date. Part of the Warne's Star Series, first published in 1876. The front free endpaper shows a chip at the top corner and it is lightly starting between pages 268 and 269. That said, this tome remains solidly bound. The author wrote several religious themed novels and children's books and also translated the fairy tales of Hans Christian Anderson and the Grimm bothers. Decorative red-brown cloth, with titles, in gilt, still bright, to front and spine. Overall, remarkably well maintained, corners square and it is internally clean and bright..
