Publisher's blue hardcover cloth binding with gilt spine lettering. Price-clipped dustjacket with the slightest of rubbing to the extremities. Fully annotated illustrations include forty-five color and black & white plates, representing over one-hundred sixty marks, and forty-one representative border decoration patterns. There is also a two page chronological chart of respective potteries provided for quick reference. With a foreword by Bernard Rackham. Previous owner's bookplate affixed neatly to front endpaper..
