Approximately 400 carefully recorded entries with annotations. The "...most detailed and exhaustive treating of English cookery books" says Bitting (352). Blue cloth slightly rubbed with gilt lettering. Text has some pencil annotations and marginal marks from previous owner. Dust jacket shows some wear, part of spine title lost and drawn in.
