The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white illustrations and line drawings light blue coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper with red, black and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Published under the auspices of The Woodworker Series: – a history of English furniture from 1500 through to 1800. Rubbing and some discolouration to the backstrip edges. Rubbing of the top book corners and lower book edges. Some fading of the book panels with heap of foxing. Tanning and foxing of the textblock edges and age toning of the pages with the occasional foxing spot. Offsets tanning and foxing to the end pages. The dustwrapper has seen better days – please see photograph. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners, and to the backstrip edges. Some tears to the dustwrapper edges, with creasing also present.
