New York: Holt Rineheart Winston, 1970. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Stated first edition of this scarce novel from Bova, signed by the author on title page. Near fine book with some staining to spine edges, most likely from excess binders glue. Jacket is near fine as well, with bottom corner of front flap clipped. Price of 3.50 remains in tact on top corner, indicating the trade state. Small chip from heel of spine, bumped rear corner, and there is a ghost of a blue stain to the rear panel which can just be made out to say "Asimov," presumably from being stored tightly on the shelf next to one of the great author's titles which has lightly bled onto this cover. Comes from the estate of science fiction editor and reviewer, Franklin Dietz, Presents as nearly fine and very hard to find thus.
