Gilt lettering to spine, gilt crests to front board, no dustwrapper. 10.5ins x 8ins, xv,(i), 228pp plus 13pp tissue guarded plates. Large number of line drawn illustrations within the text. Please note this edition contains 4 additional plates not found in the standard brown cloth edition. Endpapers browned. Previous owners signature to front free endpaper. Press clipping reviewing the book pasted to the front pastedown. As usual the once white boards are discoloured and the spine is browned. Contents VG, exterior G+.
