Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1973. Dark burgundy boards with gold gilt signature of Mr Waugh in the bottom right corner. Corners show a little wear, as do top and bottom of spine. Gold gilt lettering on spine. Beige endpapers with brown script. Pristine text with many photos and illustrations. Dust jacket has a brown background with a Fabulous portrait of the subject painted by Henry Lamb. Chipping around the edges. A lovely book.. Hard Cover. Very Good-/Fairt+.
