Edge and corner wear, scuffed and scratched, corners are bumped and rubbed, some stains on the rear cover, split (1") in the base of the spine and some fraying at the top of the spine as well, pastedown on the spine is faded and scuffed, shelf worn, pages are toning, front and rear hinges are cracked, former owner's name in ink in two places on the inner front cover, overall a nice clean collectible used copy! Wonderfully well-preserved! Black cloth with a black and white title pastedown on the spine. Very very rare and hard-to-find! 251 unmarked and uncreased informative and historical pages! Extremely scarce printing! "The term Neat Cattle comprehends all the varieties of the Ox. This animal belongs to that numerous order termed Runinants, from their singular property of bringing back their food into the mouth, after the first swallowing of it, in order that it may undergo a second and more perfect mastication.
