About This Item

Grand Haven [Michigan]: News-Journal Printing House, 1878. First edition. Softcover. Very good. Pamphlet (approximately 5 1/4" x 7 1/2"), stitched as issued. 8pp. (unpaginated) followed by a fold-out diagram. Small printed sheet tipped-in after front wrapper with introductory remarks. This pamphlet on ship navigation seeks to "facilitate and simplify the work of reducing compass courses." An unusual Michigan imprint. Unrecorded in Worldcat. One vertical crease mark but otherwise near fine.
