There is sun fading on the spine, rubbed edges and some scratches on the front where remnants of a sticker remain. There is evidence of thumbing on the lower corner with similar defects on the back. This is a good reading copy with impressive photos of crocodiles and other creatures along with stories and histories of the peoples, deserts rivers mountains and weather aroun Lake Rudolf in Kenya on the continent of Africa
