This is a limited edition, printed on Venetian deckel edge paper is limited to 1000 copies, this being copy number 609. Very good condition gray cloth boards with elaborate front cover gilt illustration and gilt spine lettering and illustration. Top paper edges are also gilt. Title pages lettered in black and red. On the front cover panel of Volume IV there are traces of red to the side and bottom edges. Assume that the set was on a bookshelf situated next to a book with a red dust jacket which was transferred in part to the last volume.
