About the author

DALE LASATER grew up on the family ranches in Falfurrias, Texas, and Matheson, Colorado. He graduated from Princeton University, earned a Fulbright Grant to the University of Buenos Aires, and spent two years working on a cattle improvement program as a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia. An active leader in the cattle industry, he lives in Colorado, where he raises Beefmaster cattle and produces natural beef.
