About This Item
London: Pan Books, 1972. Paperback. Fair +. An account of the fall of Singapore to the Japanese. Although Owen is highly critical of The British mismanagement of the defence of Malaya, his narrative has a very British focussed perspective, hardly giving much thought to the Malayan citizens who were to bear the brunt of the occupation that followed. 206 pages with an index. Weight: 0.3kg. Post free within Malaysia The book has obviously been read, so the cover has some wear. The binding is tight and the text clear with medium tanning throughout.
