(Parkersburg, W. Va: The Scholl Printing Co, 1951. Hardcover. Fine. First edition. Octavo. 151pp. Red cloth stamped in gilt. Fine. Inscribed by the author's son and the dedicatee of the book, Dr. Walter W. Johnson in 1969. One of four volumes of poetry by a Black woman, some of it written in dialect. The first of the author's four books, all self-published either in Virginia or West Virginia. Uncommon.
