Blue-black Japanese cloth with paper title labels on front cover and spine. 29pp. Several fine illustrations. Signed by book designer and illustrator, Jennifer Kennard. Printed with letterpress on fine paper. Decorated endpapers. LAID INTO an envelope is a folded 6 1/4" x 13 1/2" printed sheet produced by the book club providing details of the publication. The back cover has a superficial 2" scratch, else fine copy and lay-in addition. MacDonald was the author of the world famous biographical book, The Egg and I, as well as several other books. This is a "must have" book for a MacDonald collector.
