About This Item
Thomas Nelson and Sons, 1896 A beautiful copy of this widely published work, quite rare as a First Edition, 1896. Blue decorated embossed and indented cover, and spine, partly gilt. Very clean copy, graded Fine although obviously this takes the age into consideration. It still has the tissue guarded plates, which are often lacking, and the high quality smooth art paper is perfect. The binding is sturdy. It has a decorative presentation plate fixed to the front end paper, which is dated 1901; but it remains the nicest copy of this charming book I have seen. 0.0 0.0 0.0. Illus. by Engravings. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Fine.
