vii+306+[2]+[31 ad] pages. Small octavo (7 1/2" x 5 1/4") bound in original publisher's brown cloth lettered in black on spine and cover in a later state dust jacket. Signed and dated (1922) by the author on the front-free endpaper. First English edition.

Mysteries begin to spread across London, and at their heart is a newly opened exclusive hotel... It is soon clear that the cause of these baffling mysteries is the evil Dr. Fu-Manchu... and this time the Devil Doctor has not come alone... with him are the dreaded Si-Fan... Originally published in the United States with the title The Hand of Dr. Fu-Manchu.
Condition: Signed and dated (1922) by the author on the front-free endpaper. Moderate edge wear to boards; front board warped; contents with moderate to heavy scattered foxing, slightly cocked. Jacket edges chipped, corners chipped, crease to front jacket, extremities rubbed else a good copy in a very good jacket.
