Two-tone faux leather binding, maroon spine with navy blue boards, top edge gilt, ribbon marker laid-in, housed in matching maroon slipcase, reproduction of the author's signature on the front endpaper. Like new copy, very nice. Originally printed by Alfred A. Knopf in 1938 this facsimile was published sometime after 1976. Collection of Gallico's sports stories, part of the "Sports Classics" series.
