Translation of the title: The Iron at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative Arts. Collection of ironwork works presented in the architectural context for which they were designed and executed such as: Wall lights, Balconies, Balustrades, Mirror frames, Consoles, Fire screens, Radiator screens, Elevator grilles, Interior shines, Chandeliers, Doors, Railings, Steles, Tables, etc...and preceded by a study by Guillaume Janneau." [2nd Series].

Publisher's portfolio of purple cloth backstrips over marbled boards, with cloth ties. Folio 12.6 by 16.5 inches (440 x 323 mm). With 4 pp. of text and 42 plates unbound [Complete]. Portfolio worn, spines sunned, some edgewear, text and plates toned, rubbed, and thumb-soiled.. The International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts was a World's Fair held in Paris, France, from April to October 1925.

It was designed by the French government to highlight the new style moderne of architecture, interior decoration, furniture, glass, jewelry and other decorative arts in Europe and throughout the world. Many ideas of the international avant-garde in the fields of architecture and applied arts were presented for the first time at the Exposition.

Guillaume Janneau was general administrator of the Mobilier national and the national factories of Beauvais and Gobelins, then of Sèvres, and finally professor of applied art at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts.
