Dated 1910 from Jisc. An excellent study and guide on ferns, with general information on the fern world, its culture, fern hunting, and a description of each species. Illustrated with twelve beautiful coloured plates. Collated, complete with plate 12 to frontispiece instead of page 361. From the library of H Pentreath. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The cloth to the spine has slightly faded. From the library of H Pentreath, with their bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint scattered spotting to the first and last few leaves only; otherwise the pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with twelve full page coloured plates. Collated, complete, with plate twelve to frontispiece instead of page 361. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
