An excellent study and guide on ferns, with general information on the fern world, its culture, fern hunting, and a description of each species. Illustrated with twelve beautiful coloured plates. Collated, complete with plate 12 to frontispiece instead of page 361. From the library of H Pentreath. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The cloth to the spine has slightly faded. From the library of H Pentreath, with their bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint scattered spotting to the first and last few leaves only; otherwise the pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with twelve full page coloured plates. Collated, complete, with plate twelve to frontispiece instead of page 361. Very Good
