Collins Clear-Type Press, London, 1962 Mason (1919-1997) was a British born author who eventually emigrated to Italy. He wrote four novels, the most successful being The World of Susie Wong; all four were made into movies. The sale item is his last novel, published in 1962. No mention of first edition on the copyright page and no price listed on dust jacket so it is possible this is a book club. Blue cloth binding with gold lettering on spine only. Binding is clean and tight with no flaws other than bumping at top and bottom of spine. Dust jacket has no tears or wear but has darkened slightly with sunning on spine. 320 pages.
