Brick-coloured cloth over bevelled boards, gilt lettering on spine and front board, gilt illustration on front board, top edge gilt. 212 b&w illustrations. Heavy browning the the free endpapers, moderate to heavy rubbing on the boards/edges and spine, sun fading to most of the spine colour, small shallow bump to the fore-edge of the front board, scattered small faint liquid marks on the rear board, three small stains on the spine, slight bumping to the corners, wrinkling at the top/bottom of the spine, shelf wear to the untrimmed bottom of the text block.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
