French director Francois Truffaut’s writings on the films, directors and stars that influenced his career, including Federico Fellini, Elia Kazan, Charlie Chaplin, Jean Renoir, Alfred Hitchcock, Jean Cocteau, Howard Hawks, Orson Welles, Billy Wilder, Humphrey Bogart, James Dean, etc. Illustrated. Paperbound. Near fine with just a trace of use in printed wrappers. Enclosed in a handsome custom quarter morocco clamshell box with gilt-stamping to the spine.
