No other copies available for sale on the internet based on a search conducted the day of this listing. The book deals "sensitively with a young girl's companionship with animals, and how she learns to manage them while at the same time developing self-reliance during a period of delicate readjustment." Tight binding. No chips, tears, creases or written inscriptions on pages. Blue boards with gilt lettering on spine. Small bump on bottom edge of rear board.
