Earliest known version of this book, translated from the French.. Damage to head and foot of backstrip. Brown endpapers. Ink notes on half-title. Many, many illustrations, with tissue guards between nearly every two leaves. Light waterstain to bottom 3 inches of gutter, barely touching text, but all readable. Back cover wrinkled. Fairy tale with a happy ending at which everyone ate, drank, and danced for 36 hours ! 90 pp..
