A hardcover, in black boards, with bright silver lettering to spine, in the original publisher's glossy pictorial dust-jacket. D/j not price clipped. 16.3 cm x 24.3 cm x 5 cm. Some light bumping to the head/tail of the spine from storage, and a long impression/bump (circa 2") to the edge of the spine, with no damage and not affecting the d/j, just slightly indented. A couple of pale marks to the page fore-edges, o/w the book is Near As New. Internally NO Inscriptions or Marks. (xii) + 564 pp. Illustrations in colour and b/w; with maps/ diagrams; notes; glossary; bibliography; and Index. Overall an Excellent Very Clean, Tight and Bright copy. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks As New. See Images. ; Large Thick 8vo 9" - 10" tall .
