Description

Text is clean and umarked in a bright, tight, and square binding. The volume appears unused. Glossy price unclipped DJ has slight wear around the outer edges. Full page color illustrations throughout. From the front DJ flap, "It all started with a toy. As boys, Wilbur and Orville loved making their toy helicopter whirl through the air. As they grow older, they found that by trial and error they could solve almost any problem, whether it was running a faster printing press or building a better bicycle. But the idea of flight still fascinated them. They studied and experimented, and finally, on December 17, 1903, at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, they became the first to fly a powered airplane. What they accomplished changed the world forever."
