London: Nattali and Bond, 1855. Hardcover. Ninth Edition "with New Plates." 6.25 x 10in. 272pp.; 277pp.; 279pp. [4pp., ads.] + 80 hand colored plates. Publisher's blind-stamped cloth boards with gilt titling and decoration. All 3 volumes are in VERY GOOD condition overall, showing the extremities lightly shelf rubbed, the head and foot of the spines with loss, handsome former owner bookplate and signature of the period on the front paste-downs, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text and plates are exceptionally clean and unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
