New York: The Macmillan Company, 1938. First edition, 1938. Fair to good in good dustjacket. Blue cloth, gilt spine lettering, illustrated throughout in black and white, printed dustjacket. The book has some spotting to the front cover, good hinges, sound text block, top edge of text block dust-darkened, some discoloration to the endpapers and traces of discoloration to the bottom of the first few pages (printed areas not affected), most likely from the plant that was pressed in at the front, pages otherwise clean, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [3.00] and has overall age-toning, tiny chips to extremities but very little paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
