Hodder & Stoughton,, [1952]. 8vo., Seventh Impression, with coloured frontispiece, illustrations in the text (a number full-page), and pictorial endpapers; red cloth, upper board and backstrip lettered in black, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter mildly rubbed at extremities. Bright copy of the second Famous Five adventure, first published in 1943. The second state dustwrapper shows Tim the dog attacking, while the illustration from front panel of first state wrapper is now present as frontispiece.
