Dodd Mead, January 1881. Hardcover. Used - Good/No Jacket. 5 volumes in green cloth binding with gilt text on the spine. Includes all 3 volumes of the Great Monarchies, plus the Sixth Monarchy and the Seventh Monarchy. The Seventh Monarchy is two volumes bound in one volume. This is the second edition. No date on the title page, but the preface is to the Second Edition and dated 1870. Light wear to corners. Top and bottom of the spines are creased. Hinges are good, except the back hinge of the Sixth Monarchy, which is starting to split. Pages tight. No markings.
