Toronto: Robin Brass Studio, 2007. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. pp: 488 [2]. Pictorial dust jacket, red cloth covered boards printed in black. The story of Thomas Pearson, who enlisted with the Royal Welch Fusiliers in 1796, and had a long military career spanning almost 50 years. He eventually reached the exulted rank of General. The book is also a history of this distinguished regiment, that served, at least part of the time, in Canada during The War of 1812, which everyone knows, was won by British regulars, and Canadian militia. This is a near fine to fine copy in dust jacket.
