Original publisher's green cloth, stamped and lettered in gilt and blind. A trifle rubbed, remnant of small paper label to upper board. Internally clean and crisp. The first U.K. edition (printed in the year after the first Australian edition) of South Australian public servant and journalist Alfred Searcy's (1854-1925) fictionalised account of his travels in the Northern Territory, adapted from his collected newspaper articles published under the title In Northern Seas (1905), and revised and expanded in In Australian Tropics (1907). . First U.K. edition. 8vo.
