A first edition, first printing copy of this charming volume on games, describing the toys, games of islands, building cities and war games. H. G. Wells was a prolific English writer and has been described as the father of science fiction. With marginal drawings by J. R. Sinclair and seven photographic plates and a frontispiece. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart with some marks to the boards and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Previous owner pencil markings to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bond with bright and clean pages. Very Good
