Volume 1 with 3 plates, volume 2 with 1 plate and folding map at end before the index. Page 175-76 misbound in volume 1, placed before p. 163. Bound in quarter calf over mottled paper boards. Spine lettering in gilt with gilt frames. Marbled endpapers. Light foxing throughout but overall a clean and handsome set. Inscribed by the author on the half-title in volume 1.
