Octavo, pp. [1-10] 1-394, inserted frontispiece with illustration by P. J. Monahan, original blue-green cloth, front and spine panels stamped in brown. Adventure story first published as a six-part serial in ALL-STORY 15 November - 20 December 1919. A wealthy soldier of fortune and Islamist, whose inventions far surpass world technology of his day, forms the Legion in an unsuccessful attempt to reform Islam, which he believes to be the true religion.
