But otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book dealing with the RAF FIDO (Fog Investigation and Dispersal Operation) which involved the use of burners filled with petrol which were lighted to burn the fog off from British airfields during WW2, enabling aircraft to land in safety. 228pp, 77 b&w illustrations,26 b&w diagrams.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
