New York: Charles Scribner, 1861 With Two tipped-in letters 1) Dated 1860, Signed by Nancy A, W. Priest, a New Hampshire Poet (1847 ?-1870). 2) Signed by C. C. Felton, Cornelius Conway Felton (1807-1862), an American educator, Regent of the Smithsonian Institution, Professor of Greek Literature and President of Harvard University. Dated 1860, the letter discusses a book that Felton presented to His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, on behalf of H. O. Houghton (Publisher). xxxi, [3], 466pp, printed on fine glossy paper, bound in blind stamped, decorative leather, raised bands on spine, all edges gilt, inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, illustrated throughout. The front cover is detached, covers show edge/corner wear, interior in Very Good Condition, with binding tight. No musical notations.
