About This Item
A very nice copy of the first edition of this classic overview of Britain's many myths and legends. A seminal and much referenced work with an impressive range covering all the major topics in its field. An essential item for the collector of all things esoteric, strange, occult and mythical. Pages are exceptionally clean and bright with no marking, inscriptions, tanning or foxing. Rare thus. NOT an ex library book. Boards are clean just a little minor fraying at top of spine (see photos). Binding tight. No DJ. Often this book is one read and thus worn or marked, but this is a really nice copy of the first edition of this wonderful work. See photos all of which are of the copy for sale, we don't use stock photos
