Lacking the dustjacket, with a small tear to the spine and light wear / fading to the edges of the cover, and a presentation bookplate on the front fixed endpaper. Carl Jacob Christoph Burckhardt (1818-1897) was a historian of art and culture. This book consists of notes for three lectures that Burke delivered at Basel in 1870-1871.
