The Beacon Press, 1951. Cloth. Very Good/Good. Slightly smaller book, light blue cloth, red lettering very fine on spine, ink name and address with date (1952) on first front end paper, Harold Rugg was condemned by the House Committee on Un-American Activities for a textbook. 186 lightly browned pages, ink lines and some underlining on final pages. DJ price-clipped, gray background to front and spine with illustration of torch at front left, white back very slightly and uniformly browned. DJ has very slight surface wear at top and bottom front bookfold edges, front very slightly rubbed, slight wear to spine bottom edge, very slight wear to long spine edges, tiny tear and microtear at top back edge. Good DJ/Near Fine book.
