1920. A collection of artist renderings of theatrical costumes in pen, ink, watercolor and gouache accents, signed at lower left, title in pencil at top. One with the stamp: "Dessins de Costumes. E. Minon - Paris - 11bis Rue Hégésippe-Moreau." at the upper left. 18 designs including: Le Chat; ; Les 4 Suivantes; 1 Modiste; Clemenceau; L'Ambre (D'origine Assyrienne); L'Amoureux (sultan like headdress and outfit); L'As des As des Marraines; Peau d'Espagne; L'Homme Bleu; Mistinguette; Unnamed (Lady in a black swirling dress with green flowers and a large orange cummerbund); Chanteuse de Paf'-coni; Tenanciere de Loterie Foraine; Eve La Blonde; L'Amoureux (Man with purple cravat, gray suit and monocle); L'Amoureux (Lady in a military style uniform); Carmen; Unnamed (green dress with pink roses and black lace). 8.25 x 12" on cream paper, now toned. Most with tidemark on left side not interfering with costume. Altogether 18 delightful images with colorful intriguing designs.
