About the Authors
A native of North Carolina, Darwin Porter was a bureau chief for The Miami Herald when he was 21 and later worked in television advertising. Since then, he has written numerous best-selling Frommer guides, notably to France, Italy, England, and Germany. He is joined in his research efforts across Switzerland by Danforth Prince, formerly a resident of Zurich, who has also worked for the Paris bureau of the New York Times. They have traveled in and written extensively about Switzerland.
